Spaenaur has a fabulous assortment of exotic hardware. In case you are not familiar with rivnuts, they are used where you have to have a nut in sheetmetal where you don't have access to the back of the panel. They require a special tool, but you can "McGiver" them in ( according to one internet source)

In Mississauga, try Wuerth
I know Wuerth carries metric riv-nuts. I am not sure what their minimum purchase is; you may have to buy a kit. They are located at 6330 Tomken Road. Walk into the office, and they will help you.
