Anyone have an 84 Carrera or Earlier Turbo with 28 row brass cooler?
Help! I bought a brass turbo/84 carrera 28 row cooler ( not the one with the fan) to replace the hoop cooler, and I can't figure out how to secure it. At the top it attaches to the headlight bucket. At the bottom?

The Porsche parts pdf's don't show a bracket.

I found a thread http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/275047-mounting-28-tube-oil-cooler.html that shows various conversions. It would be really nice if someone could post a pic of an 84 Carrera or earlier turbo that had this cooler showing the bottom bracket. If someone had the part number, that would be great too !

'Bonded Rubber Buffer'
I see that according to the Porsche PET parts program, the European SC's came with the cooler you describe, and they use 3 rubber isolation mounts ('bonded rubber buffer', Porsche p/n 930 110 194 00) to secure it. It shows the upper mount, but not the other mounts. The same 3 mounts are used on the Carrera's with the electric fan cooler, and in that parts diagram it show a lower mount that secures to the bottom of the cooler, but not what the other end of the mount attaches to.

Hi Otto I do indeed have that same cooler.
there is an L-shaped bracket of sort that extends from the inner fender area.
