Driver Education Registration

E-mail Print PDF

The following Registration procedures have been adopted for the 2010 driving season:

  • 2-Day fees decreased slightly to $300 for Students and $150 for Instructors, while 3-Day fees will be $390US and $195 US, respectively.
  • Registrations will only be accepted on-line via the UCR website.
  • Registration dates will be clearly indicated for each event, both in the Provinz and on the UCR Website.
  • Registration closes TWO WEEKS PRIOR to the event date at midnight on the Friday before a 2 day weekend and at midnight on Thursday on a 3 day weekend. Applying for an event outside of the window does NOT mean that your are accepted to the event.
  • Registrants are accepted on a first come basis.
  • Registration for all run groups are open January 1st, 2010 for all events on our calendar , except for Shannonville IDS, and the Club Race Weekend(Previously, registration for the Green Instructed Run Group opened 8 weeks prior to each event).
  • IDS registrants may register for events, with their acceptance contingent on their IDS completion

If you are not confirmed as registered after the first 2-weeks of registration, then your name is automatically placed upon the wait-list. You will then be advised of your status for the event prior to the track weekend if space becomes available. You should have your car Tech Inspected and be ready for last minute notification. You can remove yourself from the wait-list at any time by cancelling your registration on-line.

  • All Payments will be made via Credit Card via our secure site on-line. Other payment methods may be accepted by special arrangement with the Registrar. Credit Card payments will be processed 2 weeks prior to the event, immediately after the registration sign-up window closes.
  • One-Day Registrations will not be offered although they may be considered by special arrangement with the Registrar and the Chief Instructor.
  • The Registrar will allocate Car Numbers for each event with preference given to member requests and past participation. Each participant must provide these numbers for their car. Non-Participation in DE for a period of 2 years may forfeit previously allocated numbers.
  • No duplicate numbers or Number/Letter combinations will be allowed. Car Numbers must be of durable material, clearly visible and at least 6" in height. Numbers are required on both sides of the car.
  • Cancellation for an event must be completed at least 14 days prior to the date of the event otherwise the Registration Fee will be forefeited. All cancellations must be doneonline by the applicant.

We believe these Registration proceedures will provide greater flexibility and convenience for seasoned trackies while allowing increased member participation in the Drivers-Ed programme for beginners by allowing six equal opportunities to register for our events.

Over 98% of our past registrations have been on-line and ourTrack Registration webmaster, Peter Carroll, has worked hard to improve the process and make things even easier for participants and organizers alike.

Out of Region Advanced Drivers

If you are an advanced driver but have never used our system before, you will need to update your Driver Details before you can use advanced registration. The system does not yet know you are an advanced driver. Register for an event but when it does not offer you an event, choose Update Only to create yourself in our system. Then email the Registrar to assign you a run group. Once this is done you can register normally.
